<p><span style="background-color:transparent;color:#000000;">Sending a document for signature is super easy with Upsign.&nbsp; You can send a document for signature from your computer or your mobile device.&nbsp; All you need to do is upload the files, add the people you want to send it to, and specify what actions you want them to take on the document.</span></p><div class="raw-html-embed"><div class="article_notes"><strong>Note:</strong>&nbsp; If you want to sign your own document, you simply add yourself as the person you want to send it to.&nbsp; You can then send it to yourself to sign or add others to sign as well. <p>To sign your own document, you should upload the document just like you would if you were sending the document to others. &nbsp;Add yourself as recipient and assign yourself to the desired fields. &nbsp;For details steps on how to create the document, see <a href="/article/creating-a-document-to-send-for-signature" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Creating a document</a>.</p><p>To sign your own document:</p><ol><li><strong>Create a document</strong> and include yourself as a recipient</li><li><strong>Add Signature field</strong> and other fields, as desired.</li><li><strong>Send</strong> the document</li><li>You will then receive a request to <strong>sign the document</strong> via email.</li></ol><p>Once the document has been sent for signature, you'll have two options to sign the document;</p><ul><li>Sign using the email request</li><li>Click the Sign action from the document list in your Upsign account</li></ul>

<p>Send in bulk allows you to send the document to multiple recipients at the same time.&nbsp; This is useful when you have a list of recipients that all need to sign their own versions of the same document. &nbsp;Common use cases for this feature include;</p><ul><li>When you need a formal approval from multiple people (e.g., sending a terms sheet to a list of people where you need a formal approval / acknowledgement from each person)</li><li>When you want to send a unique document to multiple recipients at the same time and each recipient needs to complete their own version of the document (e.g., sending a tax form to multiple new hires as the same time)</li></ul><h3>Overview of the Send in Bulk process</h3><ul><li>When creating a document, you select the Send in Bulk option</li><li>You upload a list of recipients to include in the send</li><li>Add the fields to your document and assign to recipients</li><li>Review and send the document</li><li>A unique copy of the document is sent to each of the uploaded recipients. &nbsp;Each recipient is notified to complete their version of the document.</li><li>Each unique document shows in your document list page and can be tracked and managed individually.</li><li>Upon completion, each recipient will receive a copy of their unique document</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><div class="raw-html-embed"><div class="article_notes">
<strong>Note:</strong>In addition to uploading a list of recipients, you can also add recipients manually (i.e., using the add recipients button).  When adding a recipient manually, that recipient will need to take action on each unique document.

                        A solar company is hiring a group of 15 people as door to door sales people to promote their product.  In order to hire the sales people, they need to send each of them an i-9 employment eligibility form.  Rather than sending the same document 15 times, they use bulk send.  This allows them to send each sales person a unique document while only creating the document one time.
