Delete a document

The sender of a document has the ability to delete documents they have created. The sender of a document can delete a document at any time.  Deleting a document results in the following:

  • In-flight documents are voided
  • All recipients, whether they've completed their part of the process or not, are notified that the document has been voided.
  • The documents is removed from the system.
Note:  Be careful when deleting documents. Deleted documents cannot be recovered.

There are three ways to delete a document:

Delete from the document list

  1. Navigate to the documents area
  2. Locate the document you'd like to delete
  3. Click More Actions to choose from available document actions
  4. Choose Delete
  5. Confirm Deletion

Delete from the document details popout

  1. Navigate to the documents area
  2. Locate the document you'd like to delete
  3. Click on the document name to load the document details popout
  4. Click More Actions to choose from available document actions
  5. Choose Delete
  6. Confirm Deletion

Delete in bulk

  1. Navigate to the documents area
  2. Locate the document(s) you'd like to delete
  3. Click the checkmark next to the document(s) you'd like to delete
  4. In the top bar, choose the Delete icon
  5. Confirm Deletion
