Why are recipients not receiving signature requests?

Some email clients could flag signature requests as Spam.  Some email clients may also place signature request emails in email inbox categories (e.g., the Promotions or Social tabs in Gmail).

How to resolve this issue:

  • Ask the recipient to check their Spam folder.  Recommend they move the email to the Inbox and mark as 'not spam'.  That way, future emails should go to the regular inbox.
  • Similar to the above, ask recipients to check inbox categories (e.g., the promotions tab).  Recommend they move the email to the Inbox  That way, future emails should go to the regular inbox.
Tip: If a recipient is struggling to receive the email notification sent from Upsign, you can also generate a unique link for that recipient. Then, send the link to the recipient via email, SMS, chat or some other method of communication. See Send Link to a Document to learn more.
