How do I change the name that appears in signature request emails?

When operating as a business, it can be useful to have your business name appear in the correspondence you have with customers.  From the User Profile area, you can modify your name to be the your company name to accomplish this goal.

When you send a document for signature, your user profile name will appear in two places on the email notification that recipients receive:

  • The From email line
  • The body of the email

To update your user profile name:

  1. Click on the avatar icon in the top menu
  2. Choose Manage My Profile
  1. Navigate to Personal Information in the left navigation
  2. Choose Edit option in the personal information section
  3. Modify your profile information as needed
  4. Click Save to save the changes

 

Why can't I modify the company name?

The company name field comes from the account settings. This can only be modified by an account administrator. See Modify account name and address
